Welcome to Formula Grappling. You're probably a little overwhelmed and without a sense of direction or perhaps you don't know how things will work around here so I'm going to give you a basic look into how things will proceed from here. First, let's look at the main page.
Formula Grappling News
This is where you will find the latest news and general rules for the efed. Usually news will be presented through this Arnetta Belanger account, which will be the acting Admin on the forum. Formula Grappling news will be taking an in character and out of character stance when delivering news, and it will be pretty obvious which angle we're coming from whenever we post news.
Contracts
This is where you will find the templates for Contracts. If you are interested in becoming a roster member, you will need to sign a singles contract here, even if you are only planning on using a character for a tag team venture. Every member of the roster will have a singles contract to refer to. Wrestlers who are approved will show up on the "Signed Talent" portion of the forum. The sub-pages from there will be for approved tag teams and stables. The inactive sub page are for talent that is either no longer with us or contracts that were not approved, and never finished or fixed.
Card Location
This is where we will post the cards; both weekly and PPV. You will see who you're facing in the locked cards thread and then post your promos in the Live Promos section below. Not much more to say about this section other than keep an eye on it. It's your responsibility to make sure if you're in a match or not.
Live Promos
This is where the action happens. The promos posted here are the only ones that will count toward whatever match you have that week and will only consist of promos from people in matches. Any promo outside of that will go elsewhere. Check the FG Rules thread for further specifications on promoing.
The Show
This is where the outcome of the show will be posted. There is no absolute designated time when this will be posted, but it will be posted on the day that it's expected. You will be allowed to post your comments in the show thread, and when next week's show is posted, then the previous show will be sent to the archives.
Locker Room Segments
Here will be a lot of the character developmental backstage stuff that can happen at any time. You can approach the locker room door of any character and strike up a conversation or even make offers of allegiances, friendship, or drop by with a "friendly" warning. Some of these things may be included in the upcoming show. If not, these encounters will be saved in the Exclusive Segments section.
Elsewhere Segments
These are for open threads where you choose the setting and set up an open thread where anyone can come in and meet your wrestler for some banter. For instance if you wanted to create a thread here, and you wanted it to take place at a fictional bar, you will set the scene, describe the bar and then enter your character. These are meant to be more social threads, but you are allowed to make them invitation only. Any physical violence must be laid out and agreed upon by not only all members of the attack, but also be allowed by the Admin. After the threads end, they will be sent to the Exclusive Segments section.
Shows on Demand
Otherwise known as the archives. Here is where you can view shows from the past. Once they're sent here, they will be locked from future replies.
Exclusive Segments
These are out-of-show segments and promos that aren't directly associated with a match or a show. In other words, a lot of the character development stuff will go here. Once here, they will be locked from further replies. The scene may even be briefly closed out by the Admin, such as fading to black to signal the end of the thread.
