Wrestler's Background

According to his wrestling bio, "Ace" was a high school dropout who created fake IDs to get himself into the casinos in his hometown of Las Vegas, where he made a comfortable living until his success got him banned from every major casino in town and hunted by unsavory characters.  He fled to Japan, where he took up professional fighting in addition to his gambling activities.  Eventually his fame grew and he was able to return to the United States, where he traveled to various regional wrestling promotions, earning accolades for his progressive, athletic style and fighting spirit even when outmuscled by much larger men. 

Having held nearly every title in the business, Sky was on top for half a decade, but it now looks as if his time in the spotlight may be over.  For the past couple of years, he's had a rough go of it, failing to capture titles and watching his place on the cards slipping ever downward.  He's still known for his showmanship and heart, but more and more often, he fails to get it done when it really counts, in spite of his greatest efforts.

Now Sky has come to FGW to take one last shot at the big time.  He's made it clear that this is "sink or swim" for him, and he's leaving everything he has left in the ring, every time he goes out there.  The question is, does he have it in him to capture the big gold belt one last time?

Wrestler's Entrance Description

When his entrance music hits, Sky waits a few moments to build tension, finally appearing on the first utterance of "fire" in the song (accompanied by fiery pyro to his right and left, if available in the venue).  As he makes his way to the ring, he stops to give signed playing cards to kids in the crowd, saving his signature card, the Ace of Spades, for a child at ringside. 

Before he enters the ring, Sky wipes his boots off as a show of respect for the "sacred ground" he is about to enter.  Climbing up onto the apron, he flings whatever cards he has remaining to the crowd in a "fanning" move he's perfected over the years, then climbs onto the turnbuckle from the outside and backflips into the ring.  Once in the ring, he crouches on the turnbuckle in his designated corner, affecting nonchalance as evidence of his preparedness of the coming match.

For big matches, Sky has been known to have dozens of cards dropped from the rafters as he flips into the ring.
